Direct Support Professional – Awake Overnight

residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental

The Awake Overnight is responsible for:

Completing
regular checks overnight
·
Provide one on one care as needed
·
Monitor vital signs and
specialized medical supports
·
Developing a rapport with
residents and cultivating a safe and supportive relationship
·
Providing supervision for
individuals overnight
·
Providing services as outlined in
individual care plans
·
Communicating progress to
individuals’ support team
Qualifications & Skills
·
High
school diploma or G.E.D. certificate required
·
Valid
driver’s license
·
Creative
problem solving and great attention to detail
·
Excellent
organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
·
Compassionate
about the care and well-being of others
·
Ability
to pass a background check and drug test

9pm – 7am
· Weekend

Salary

Starting
wage 11.11/hour dependent on education and experience, with pay differential
for awake overnight shifts.
