Direct Support Professional

residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental

The Direct Support Professional is
responsible for:

Assisting
with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with
personal hygiene
·
Developing
a rapport with residents and cultivating a safe and supportive relationship
·
Providing
supervision, training and guidance when needed
·
Providing
services as outlined in individual care plans
·
Communicating
progress to individuals’ support team
Qualifications & Skills
·
High
school diploma or G.E.D. certificate required
·
Valid
driver’s license
·
Creative
problem solving and great attention to detail
·
Excellent
organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
·
Compassionate
about the care and well-being of others
·
Ability
to pass a background check and drug test

wage 11.11/hour dependent on education and experience, with pay differentials
