Direct Support Professional -CNA

CNAs or Nursing Assistants or individuals training to be CNA’s or Nursing
Assistants to provide one on one care to an individual with a developmental

The Direct Support Professional is
responsible for:

Provide one on one care,
assisting with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting
with personal hygiene
·
Monitor vital signs and
specialized medical supports
·
Developing a rapport with
residents and cultivating a safe and supportive relationship
·
Providing supervision, training
and guidance when needed
·
Providing services as outlined in
individual care plans
·
Communicating progress to
individuals’ support team
Qualifications & Skills
·
CNA (preferred)
·
Valid driver’s license
·
Creative problem solving and
great attention to detail
·
Excellent organizational,
interpersonal and communication skills
·
Compassionate about the care and
well-being of others
·
Ability to pass a background
check and drug test
