Community Employment Specialist

position dedicated to helping people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities find competitive jobs. The Community Employment Specialist
networks with community businesses, helps individuals set and pursue career
goals, and documents progress using a web-based data management system.
Good communication skills are essential to this position, as the Community
Employment Specialist has frequent interaction with individuals served, family
members, case managers, employers and other team members. This is a
rewarding position for someone driven to support people with intellectual and
developmental disabilities to thrive, connect and achieve in their
community. Bachelor’s degree and some experience working with people with
disabilities are required.
